Celebrities, Green Day, Lance Bass, Collin Farrell, Cyndi Lauper, Lady Gaga

Lance Bass, GreenDay and Cat Cora will host a gay prom in Mississippi open to everyone but geared towards gay youth that could not bring their dates to prom. Kids like Constance McMillen who could not bring her girlfriend and where the school held a secret prom for the rest of the students that she could not attend. Great that people are doing something about despicable acts like that.

Actor Collin Farrell has been speaking out against anti-gay bullying for a campaign to help youth in Ireland. His gay brother Eamon came home bloody sometimes after school because he was “different” and Collin made a great statement how different in fact is great and it is a disgrace that some kids do not survive their teenage years because of bullying like this. Great guy he is!

Cyndi Lauper’s organization is helping establish Manhattan’s first permanent housing for LGBT youth that are homeless. The True Colors residence will open in Harlem in the Winter of 2011 to help 18-24 year old to get back on their feet. What a fantastic and very important thing.

Lady Gaga loves her fans and that is why she spoke out in favor of a 15-year old student that was wearing a I heart Lady Gay Gay shirt to school that was sent home. She says she is proud of him and that he should just be himself!! Hear, hear

You should post the website for the True Colors project if you have it. Very worthy cause, I would donate.
