Maggots force U.S Airway flight back to gate

2 07 2010

A flight left Atlanta,  but the pilot had to turn around quickly back to the gate because maggots were falling out of the overhead bin. Gross!!! People were asked to stay calm and in their seat, while flesh-eating little worms are falling all over them. One of the passengers had a bag with rotten food with him which caused the nastiness.Who takes rotten meat with them on a plane???

Gossip; Real Housewives news, Harry Potter loves the gays, Janice Dickinson, Britney

1 03 2010

Vicky Gunvalson macked with a 25-year old college student in Puerto Vallarta last month. Mike Pullin said they made out the whole night. Why anyone would wanna tongue Vicky is beyond me, but V needs assurance from everyone so bad that this does not surprise me. Poor Don. He is too good and nice for her.

I hear the rumors before but now it is official, Kim Zolciak from the Atlanta wives is dating a woman. It is circuit party DJ Tracy Young who left her girlfriend for Kim. They are an item for 3 months now.

Daniel Radcliffe(Harry Potter) has donated a huge amount of money this summer to a hotline that helps suicidal gay youth, The Trevor Project, something I blogged about a while ago. Now he has also shot a commercial for the group that will air this spring. Great that a young straight succesful actor does a thing like this.

I personally cannot get enough from Janice Dickinson, so I was happy to read that she will star in another reality show where she wants to find love with a much younger guy. Cougar alert!! And good for her.

And I end with the by far most important news of this year, Britney is back to being a blonde!! Looks much better than the ugly dark hair.

Bus driver suspended for praying

9 11 2009

A bus driver in Atlanta has been suspended for 5 days after he forced his passengers to pray with him. The man stopped the bus at random and asked his passengers to hold each others hand and pray. It took 5 minutes and nobody knows why he did this. I have been in the bus once in the U.S from New York to Philadelphia and me and girlfriends were reprimanded by the driver to talk softer, he even stopped the bus to tell us that, multiple times. Never ever heard that back here in a bus or car or whatever. So bus drivers are from now on freaks for me!!

Sport, Rio host of 2016 Olympics and Sharapova back on track

3 10 2009

Rio de Janeiro as a host for the Olympics 2016 was a great pick in my opinion. It was never before in South America, the people are crazy about sports and most of all it was the best of the candidates. Madrid only made it to the final 2 because of the plea from former IOC head Antonio Samaranch and Chicago was never a great candidate to begin with. The people from Chicago were not as much behind it as in Madrid or Rio and the U.S. had troubles hosting the Olympics in the past. Both Atlanta and Salt Lake City had their issues and were not a huge success. And Obama and Oprah Winfrey standing behind Chicago did not help either. Besides what does Oprah have to do with sport, she does not strike me as the athletic type. That she influenced who became President of the U.S. was bad enough as it is. The rest of the world luckily does not care much about what Oprah thinks.

Maria Sharapova won the big tournament in Tokyo beating Jelena Jankovic by retirement. A not so nice ending to a great week for her. Sharapova did not have to beat many top players herself to win her first tournament since her injury, but most of them were there anyway. Serena and Kim were the only top players not there in Japan. This week Sharapova showed back her old serve to great success. To help her shoulder she tried a new serving technique for a few months but with a lot of double faults and very little aces her serve became more of a liability then a weapon. Good decision to go back to the old serve. Slowly but steady 2010 seems to become a great and exciting season.

Gay news; banning divorce, anti-gay killing in Jamaica, gay bar raided in Atlanta

13 09 2009

A man from Sacramento came up with something really good. A ban on divorce!!He is gonna stand in front of Wal-Mart’s in the area to ask people to sign a petition for traditional marriage. He is gonna interview people on why they think marriage is important and then say he wants to ban divorce. If people who were voting against prop 8 really don’t do it to take right away from gays then they should sign this petition as well. He wants to have it on the ballot in 2010.

An honorary consul for the British queen in Jamaica has been killed in a brutal anti-gay killing. The man was married but lived separated and  as a bi-sexual. He was an escort for the queen a few times while she was in Jamaica. John Terry was strangled and robbed in his own house. Police found a letter on the body calling him a “batty” man(slang for homosexual) and  “this will happen to all gays”. I knew Jamaica was anti-gay, but this is really getting out of hand. Hope something will be done about this now, unfortunately too late for the poor man.

What the fuck is up with the police forces lately. After the much talked about raid of a gay bar in Texas a few weeks back, now the same sorta thing happened in Atlanta. Both patrons and staff was arrested and handcuffed and the way it happened was very derogatory and insulting. Cops were looking for drugs while people were forced to lay on the ground and were searched in a very aggressive manner.  A rally was held yesterday-night in protest to the raid. Do cops get any diversity training at all in the U.S???
