Gay news, I am mad!! ,gay KLM stewards not to Iran. Mary Cheney WTF

1 06 2010

I read an article that was published in the Reformatorisch(pretty extreme  protestant Dagblad(daily newspaper) in the Netherlands today. It said that the president of Malawi should not have bended so quickly to the western world while he pardoned the gays from 14 years in jail and hard labor. They thought it was good a country with such christian values still existed. WTF!!!. Reading that in the Netherlands was totally shocking to me and I decided to give them a call. They told me they would come up with another article today because maybe the sentence was too harsh but they were not in favor of homosexual acts. That is all fine, but agreeing with them going to jail is just ridiculous I told them. He told me to wait for the new article, I am very curious. Everyone, including politicians have reacted with outrage.

Gay stewards from the KLM have told the company they do not wanna fly to Iran anymore because they are afraid to be discriminated there or even worse. As everyone knows there are strict rules against gays in that country so I can totally understand the reasoning. KLM does not agree with them though and only has a list of women that do not have to fly to Iran because they do not wanna wear a head-scarf or have been in uncomfortable situation there. Worker’s unions think this is unacceptable. I do not understand why KLM flies 5 times a week to Iran period when so many people have issues.

Mary Cheney is the daughter of former Vice-President Dick Cheney and she is lesbian with a daughter. Mary is endorsing and working on the election of Bill McCollum as Florida Governor. Yes, the Bill McCollum that hired and supported George Rekers, he who thinks gays can be cured and he who is totally against gay parents. She is super conservative but this comes as a total surprise. What a self-hating cunt.

Flying through London Heathrow with BA around X-mas equals disaster

31 12 2009

The week before flying through Heathrow Airport there was talk of a BA strike around the Holidays. Even though BA personnel is about the least helpful and friendly from all airlines and gets paid the most, they wanted more money. We changed flights to KLM but because BA was forbidden to strike by a court decision me and my boyfriend had to keep our original BA tickets otherwise it would have cost us an extra 900 dollar. Arriving from New York to London on the 22nd of December we arrived at the BA gate at around 8 in the morning and saw that our flight to Amsterdam was cancelled because of bad weather. There was no bad weather in London and not in Amsterdam, either but it was all weather related anyway according to the ground staff. After waiting in line for an hour a bitchy queen helped us and we could be the 40th!!! stand-by for the flight to Amsterdam at 11.40. No, having business class seats would not do us any good he said, we just had to wait like everybody else. First we had to get our luggage with all the other stranded exhausted people(no flights were going to anywhere else in the UK either) People had waited for hours but we “only” had to wait for over an hour to retrieve our bags and try to check in for the next flight to Amsterdam. Unfortunately thousands of other people had to wait as well so by the time we were being helped it was already 11. Being business class we should have been on the 11.40 flight according to the person helping us then, but now it was already too late and he was sorry for the way the bitch before had treated us.We were booked on the 4.40 to Amsterdam and that one was definitely going he assured us. We had to wait for over 4 hours on the airport while I had not slept for almost 30 hours and was getting fairly moody and upset by that point as was my partner. Slowly our wait came to an end ¬†and at 4 pm we were ready to go board our flight to Amsterdam again. Just to find out this flight was cancelled as well due to lack of staff. Our initial theory that many BA people would just call in sick instead of a strike seemed to become the truth. BA was having none of that though and according to them it was all weather related(sure!!) Next flight the following day at 3 pm. Around us people were crying for having to miss the flight home for another day, but BA just acted like people should not give them such a hard time and that they were the victim. We have the money to pay for a ridiculously expensive hotel at Heathrow Airport but many don’t. Those people just have to sleep at the airport. Next day with an hour delay from London Gatwick ,which is a tranquil heaven compared to Heathrow, we arrived in Amsterdam. It had cost us 1500 dollars and a full day, thanks BA!!. Since two years ago I was stranded there as well for almost a full day( left at 9 at night instead of 9 in the morning) and my partner being delayed 6 hours last year I would recommend everyone to avoid Heathrow and BA around X-mas like the plague.
