Britney, repent!

This “woman” Cindy Jacobs must have high blood pressure.

Gay news, no civil partnership Hawaii,Kylie wins gay prize, end to EU gay blood ban? Gay Pride Jerusalem, She’s back!!!

7 07 2010

Republican Governor Linda Lingle from Hawaii vetoed a bill yesterday that would have allowed same-sex civil unions in that state. Because Lingle invited Justice Steven Levinson, who back in 1993 found that the law banning gay marriage was unconstitutional, people expected she would sign the bill in favor of the civil unions. She thinks the bill is too similar to marriage though and that is only allowed for twice-divorced bitches like Lingle herself. Bigots were happy.

During Gay Pride in Madrid, Kylie Minogue was awarded a gay prize for her devotion to the gay community. She said it was a great honor and praised Spain for allowing gay marriage. Kylie sure deserves this prize, no big artist has been so supportive on gay issues for so many years. Except maybe for Madonna back in the day. Kylie is a lot more likeable though and that translates better to straight people.

Ministers from Health in several countries from the EU are planning to file a motion that in the EU gays should no longer be denied to donate blood. Just like in the U.S gays that have had sex since 1977 are not allowed to donate. Sweden is the only country that allows gay men to donate blood as long as they did not have sex in the last year. I think the whole rule is ridiculous, the only thing that matters is if people are safe, gay or straight. Definitely in these times.

District police of Jerusalem have changed their minds and granted permission for this year’s parade(end of the month) to terminate at the Knesset building. It is the one-year anniversary of the shootings in Tel Aviv at a gay center and getting to the Knesset is a proper way to symbolize what the parade is about. Full equal rights and an end to violence. Totally agree with that.

She is back. PhatGayKid is now lisping though Katy Perry’s “California Gurls.”

Gay news, DADT repeal, anti-gay family sues bus-driver, Zuma critiques Malawi sentence, Glee/fag

28 05 2010

First the Senate Armed Forces Committee voted for the Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell repeal compromise with 16-12 and then the Senate also voted for it 234-195. Of course it did not go without right-wing last-minute scare tactics about gay rape and HIV transmission in the Army. Fools. European army leaders actually said another advantage about allowing gays in the military is the fact that many (gay) european soldiers had a hard time  accepting DADT in the U.S and that made it harder for them to co-operate with U.S troops. The people of the U.S were in favor of ending DADT 72 % as well. Now it is off for a final vote by Obama and Congress.

An Indiana family is suing a school bus driver after he stopped the bus and berated a girl for her continuous bashing of Obama and gays. The girl told other students they were going to hell if they supported gay marriage. The bus driver called her a little bigot and according to the parents the girl has never recovered from that incident, now 2 years ago. Maybe he should not have called her that, but then again, he was right. The girl’s parents should be ashamed. I have had a bus-driver in the U.S stop the bus because of me and my girlfriends once. We were talking too hard and he wanted us to be quiet. I have never recovered, maybe I should sue as well, haha.

South African president Zuma has strongly critiqued the sentencing of the gay couple in Malawi for 14 years prison and hard labor. In most African countries there are anti-gay laws but in South Africa gays can marry. The special thing about his comment is that it is very rare for african leader to critique one another.

I have never seen an episode of Glee, but I will definitely try to catch up on it when I ‘m back in the U.S or maybe they show it here in the Netherlands. The Madonna episode must have been great( I did see clips of that) and the Lady Gaga one supposedly was also fabulous. The father of a gay kid had a fantastic thing to say about the word fag in that one. So good that kids in middle-america here this.

Gay news, outrage Malawi sentence(Madonna/White House, Aussi news(Gay MP and football, gays in military does work, Backstreet boys at gay pride SF

21 05 2010

It seems that everyone is upset with the sentence of the Malawian gay couple yesterday. They got 14 years in jail and hard labour for being in love. First our minister for foreign affairs, christian democrat Maxime Verhagen called it terrible and says Malawi does not get any money from the Netherlands. He also calls for EU sanctions against Malawi. Madonna who is building a school there  also says she is shocked and saddened and thinks Malawi took a giant step backwards. The White House send out a statement strongly condemning it.

An Australian Labor MP(strong family values!) has resigned yesterday after being filmed leaving a gay sex sauna and club. He even used the ministerial car to go there. He is married with 2 children. Why are it always the “family values” guys.

Australian footballer leagues Jason Akermanis had the message for gay players to stay in the closet. He told in a column in the Herald Tribune that AFL footy is not ready for it. Using the showering together as the biggest reason while saying he is not homophobic. Why always she showering. Guys look at each other’s cocks anyway, gay or not. And what man does not look at a women’s tits?? Is that such a big deal?? His own club as well as others have distanced themselves from his comments as have other athletes.

Gays in the military are a non-issue in the Netherlands, Israel, England, Canada and Australia, officers of those countries have told at a DADT hearing. There are even benefits like better retention of qualified soldiers. Gays often do not have children and that is the main reason for many soldiers to leave the army in their 20’s/30’s.

And some light news to end this post. The Backstreet Boys will be performing at this year’s Gay pride in SF on june 27. They must be the most popular male band ever in the world to have performed at Pride. I have never been a fan at all, but good for them.

Lady Gaga in concert

16 05 2010

Finally I saw Lady Gaga live!!!. Missed her in NY a few times, but this time in the Netherlands it all worked out. I went with my 2 sisters and we had so much fun.It was super fantastic. Gaga is just such a great entertainer but unlike Britney or Madonna the girl can sing very well, live. Her outfits were beyond fabulous. Extreme couture, sexy and risqué. Fire spitting tits, hair-extension on her pubic area and extreme bulging jock straps on her dancers. The decor was very musical-ish with a huge monster, a car that had in a piano as engine and  lots of special effects. The whole crowd was so into it and that made the atmosphere magical and unique. Must-see for music fans!!

Gay news, Madonna awfully quiet, White Party with big stars, Equality march in LA

13 04 2010

Madonna has been in Malawi for a while now building a school for children and has adopted 2 kids from Malawi as well. With knowing her previous record of backing gay rights, especially in the 80’s and 90’s, I am unpleasantly surprised she has said nothing about the gay couple that has been arrested there after wanting to get married. One of the jailed men is critically ill in prison. He has been vomiting, and having chest pains and a cough. He is gotten no medial treatment or painkillers. Where is Madonna is this??, too busy fucking guys in their 20’s and working out??

The yearly White Party in Palm Springs looked like it was a fabulous event. Palm Springs itself is great and then having a party with celebrities like Britney, Ke$ha, Kim from the Real Housewives, lots of “girls” from Ru Paul’s Drag Race and numerous famous porn stars. Wish I would have been there!!

700 people have marched in LA this sunday demanding Social Security Benefits for gays. They started at the gay & lesbian centre and marched towards the Social Security Administration Office in Hollywood. One of the political leaders in attendance was Senator Barbara Boxer. The protest was the kick-off of the Rock For Equality campaign.

News; crotch-grabbing people, Dick, Beckham, Hawaii civil union, Holland raised 41 million euro for Haiti

25 01 2010

Andy Dick has got himself in trouble again. The comic was arrested and charged with 2 counts of sexual abuse for groping and kissing patrons and bouncers in a Huntington, West Virginia, nightclub. He was in Huntington for his comedy shows and had grabbed attention already by dropping the skirt he was wearing as Daphne Aguilera and being nude on stage for at least 5 minutes. In a the book of Kathy Griffin there is a similar sketch described about Andy and he just seems a good guy that is extremely funny( and I would def. like to see him perform) and extremely troubled as well.

Andy was not the only person grabbing genitals this week. David Beckham got his balls grabbed by a female italian TV-host of the show The Hyena’s in Milan. After doing it she screamed: “You lied, you are small.” Meaning the Armani underwear billboards Beckham modeled for. Just super rude and the bitch needs a fine at least for this, just not funny.

The Hawaii Senate passed a civil union bill that would give gay and straight people entering it the same rights as married couples with 18-7. Now the house has to vote on it and I think it is about time this happened in Hawaii because there has been talk about it. there for years. This is the way it happened in the Netherlands and Britain as well and maybe should be what the U.S strives for as well now that all the bigots do not want gay marriage yet.

The Haiti telethon in the U.S was a success by earning 57 million dollars. Multiple stars sing live for the good cause and Madonna as surprisingly strong. Voice is really getting better by the years. In the Netherlands there was a similar action and raised 41 million euros so even more in dollars. The government doubled it so together it was 82 million euros. I think the U.S did good as well, but having 307 million people there and 16 million in the Netherlands, we did absolutely fantastic.
