Gossip, Osbourne’s shut down bigots, Jodie Foster, Joe Jackson, Sean Hayes at Tony’s

14 06 2010

As I previously mentioned, Sharon and Kelly Osbourne were Gay Pride marshals in LA this weekend. While they were on their float they encountered some anti-gay activists and the girls shut them down. Sharon yelled: ” You should be ashamed of yourselves,” though the speakers and Kelly told them her God does love gays. Well done!

Jodie Foster was in the news this week for allegedly attacking a 17-year old guy. According to the guy’s father Jody scratched, pushed and shoved him. She then asked, “Do you even have a mother, you slime ball.” Jody says the guy was a paparazzi because of his huge camera, but according to the dad he is just a kid with a nice camera. LAPD is vetting the case but I think Jodie is telling the truth. Besides, 17 is not a kid anymore.

Joe Jackson, Michael’s despicable dad who looks like a dried out tranny, is at it again. He is now claiming mother Katherine is to blame for Michael’s death. He says he could barely look at Katherine after Michael’s passing because he had warned her to go over to Michael and stay there to help him with his problems. He could not do it because Michael was a mommy’s boy.(Yeah with such a dad who wouldn’t). And because Katherine did not want to intervene with Michael’s privacy he is now death. Katherine’s lawyers are already after Joe. What an asshole that guy is.

Sean Hayes hosted the Tony’s this year and took aim at the infamous article in Newsweek a few weeks ago that said he could not convincingly play a straight men. Watch it for yourselves.

Gay news, Gay teen murdered in Scotland, Baltic Pride troubles, Turkish gay movement not forbidden, gay can’t play straight?

10 05 2010

A sixteen-year old gay teen and a friend have been attacked and slashed with a knife in Glasgow while walking home. He died soon after the attack and his friend is still in the hospital. A seventeen-year old male has been arrested. It is believed to have been a homophobic attack.

Baltic Pride in Lithuania that I blogged about this weekend has not gone by peacefully. Six hundred! cops had to use teargas to get the hundreds of anti-gay bigots out-of-the-way. The parade had only 300-500 participants and it shows that maybe in NY and the Netherlands Gay Pride is just a party but in other countries it is still a whole lot more.

In Turkey last friday a court decided that Black Pink Triangle, a gay group, should be allowed to exist there. The governor of Izmir wanted to have it forbidden because it was against good Turkish morals and family tradition. Great thing that even in some Muslim countries the law is on the good side.

Broadway Superstar and TV-actress Kristin Chenoweth(famous from my all-time fav musical Wicked) is playing in the revival of Promises, Promises with Sean Hayes aka Jack from Will and Grace and she fought back against a nasty article in Newsweek about how gay men cannot play straight. According to the article it is easy for straight men to play gay, but people do not believe it the other way around. Chenoweth rightly says how much it means for gay kids to see out/proud actors like Neil Patrick Harris and Cynthia Nixon(Miranda from Sex&theCity) not only succeeding in their work as an actor but also are very believable as straight. A true friend of the LGBT community.
