In her upcoming memoir Laura Bush tells that she told her husband not to make gay marriage an issue in the 2004 elections because of all the gay friends and friends with gay kids they have. Too bad he did not listen to her!
A Mississippi high school is refusing to not only put lesbian Ceara Sturgis pic in the yearbook because she was wearing a tux(something I blogged about before) but now just removed her from the yearbook all together. The fact that she went there for 12 years and was a top student apparently is not important for the school. Being a lesbian is a way bigger deal apparently.
As you may remember Johnny Weir was not invited for the U.S Stars on Ice tour because he was not family friendly enough. Now his nemesis Evan Lysacek slams Johnny for whining and says he just was not good enough. Well I saw the line-up and there are other people in there that did not win 3 nationals or a bronze medal so Lysacek’s comment is bullshit. Besides not Johnny made an issue about not participating but the media did. Johnny was at Wendy Williams show and reacted back to this thing though a little less subdued, he called Lysacek is a slore(slut/whore).
Parents in Booneville, North Carolina proved to be huge bigots after hearing that 2 gay kids will attend a school prom together. They will hold a separate prom to make sure their straight kids will not be exposed to “gayness.” In this time and age??
